// The skinny: This classic original Playstation game has been re-mastered for Xbox live. Match colored blocks, blow them up, shame your opponents.

// Review: The game was the reason I bought a Playstation back in college. Every puzzle game owes its roots back to Tetris, and this is another game in that vein. The basic gameplay is to match colored gems to make bigger one, and then you detonate them to add blocks on your opponents screen.

/ This game is super addictive. On the screen you have a mini Street Fighter or Dark Stalkers avatar that react to how the game is going. Each avatar has a specific drop pattern to the blocks added to your competition. If you manage an uber finish, the screen gets really bright as the ending animation takes place. I get giddy when that happens and I tell the guy I'm playing against that it's time to get the sunglasses. Further humiliation ensues when the cute avatar talks trash.

// Wrap up: At $10 I think it's the best Xbox live purchase next to Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. Playing vs the computer is a waste of time. The real experience is going online and playing ranked games.
